Lindsay Lohan

Let us take a trip back in time... a time when her shoes didn't explode with "baby powder, a time when she was young untainted by media. Her singing career has produced two "decent" CDs and I'm still waiting on the new one, however, not all is lost many of her tracks have leaked.

"Speak" was her debut album that attained platinum status. I could talk about Rumors, but that was her first single that did relatively well. I want to talk more about Speak. I wish she released this as a single; it has a nice pop-rock feel to it.

"A Little More Personal" didn't fare as well as "Speak" but did attain the Gold status. She covered "Edge of Seventeen" originally by Stevie Nicks. I liked the song's use of string on top of its rock-like chorus.

She's now out of jail and I hope she can get well a give us another album. She has some leaked tracks from her recent recording sessions. I must say I love "Too Young To Die." It fits the tone of her life right now; a time when there is too much confusion and chaos; and she is possibly at the lowest point of her life. It's a very dark song; the chorus is soo addicting "crashing my car coming flying thru the windshield."

Another song has surfaced from her "Spirit in the Dark" album; it is titled "Stay." It is a mid tempo track, pretty simple lindsay-esque chorus. I think it still sounds like it needs tweaking instrumentally, but otherwise it is a decent song.

Please share with  me your opinions!

Here I Go...

My name is Lukius Curtiss; you can call me Luk or LC for short. I have decided to start a blog concentrating mostly on underrated music. I consider myself pretty open to many types of music; and I'm willing to give a song a least a go before I obliterate it off the face of my music library.
I welcome you all to the World of Muse-Ickality!
